The story behind the archive.

Inspiration.

My journey into character creation began with a deep admiration for Vivziepop's distinctive and well known style. I was allured by the idea of building an infamous world, much like hers. My main character, in many ways, is a reflection of myself – a persona shaped by my own traumas and the complexities of going through relationships and family dynamics. Each stroke, every design, is infused with these personal experiences, giving my characters a feeling of reality and relatability.

This is me! I won't show my face, obviously, but I will wear a kitsune mask whenever I'm filming, posting my face, or going out in crowded spaces. Don't approach me if you see me, please. Please. I have social anxiety. It will be awkward for both of us.

The joys of art and creation.

What brings me the most joy in this creative process? It's the act of drawing, sketching, and everything along those lines. Ha, get my pun? These artistic endeavors offer me a profound sense of peace. They serve as a sanctuary of sorts, a distraction from the chaos and mishaps that often surround me. In the quiet focus of creation and sketchbooks, I find calm changing my inner world into tangible art.

This sketch here is the skeleton of Mirael (Moxxie was a temp name) getting his new design. It is not finished, clearly. It still isn't after this photo was taken.

Ambitions for the future.

When you visit the Black Tear Archive, I hope you feel a mix of admiration, perhaps a bit of thrilling fear, and a sense of shared pride in my work. My dream is to cultivate a fandom around these characters that I've meticulously developed over many years. I wish for you to feel a part of this massive and grand project, to take pride in being an early witness to its growth and evolution. For now, I will start making comics and posting them on Magma's app under D1jul1s. I hope anyone who reads this enjoys my style, stories, and hopes.

These Characters here are Alria and Ren, in their new (mostly) finished designs.
